Two Factor Authentication (WebAuthn)
Two-factor authentication is an optional but recommended method that verifies your identity. This method uses two of three factors: * Something you know (like a password) * Something you have (like a USB key) * Something you are (like a fingerprint)
'WebAuthn' is a technology for adding a USB key or fingerprint if your device allows. It is tied to your device cryptographically, making it very secure.
You can alternatively use a fingerprint or USB key as a passwordless login, which skips needing to input email and password.
Two Factor setup (Fingerprint or USB Key):
- Select the '2FA' button.
- Type a name for a key like "Mac" for example, then click "Create Key".
- There's be a popup. Choose to either touch the fingerprint pad, or USB key if using that.
- Now when you login with password, there'll be a prompt for your 2nd identification.
Passwordless setup (Fingerprint or USB Key):
- Select the 'Passwordless Login' button.
- Type a name for a key like "Mac" for example, then click "Create Key".
- There's be a popup. Choose to either touch the fingerprint pad, or USB key if using that.
- Now you can login with the "Passwordless Login" button on the login page.
Keys can be disabled and deleted from this area.
Browser Sessions
The Browser Sessions section allows you to log out of all your other browser sessions across all your devices. If your account has been compromised, logging out of sessions and updating your password will help mitigate future security risks.
Mailing List Subscriptions
The Mailing List Subscriptions section allows you to manage all your subscription preferences.
