IAA Member guide to MSA updates
We have updated the terms and conditions of our Master Service Agreement (MSA). Below are answers to some common questions about the revised agreement.
Why have we updated our MSA?
We reviewed our pricing to reduce the costs of IX services, and have introduced a new long-term service contract concept to deliver further discounts to Members who commit to longer service terms. Updates to the MSA were therefore necessary to give effect to our new pricing structure, including the establishment of a Service Schedule for long-term contracts.
We used this opportunity to also make other updates to reflect current business operations.
Where can I read the updated MSA?
You can find the revised agreements here:
You can also find a marked-up copy here:
What are the changes?
The updates include:
- references to the Service Schedule;
- formalising our approach to the new Minimum Term concept, including how it interacts with pricing, renewal, upgrades/downgrades and termination;
- a price review clause to formalise our approach to reviewing and adjusting prices over time;
- changes to insurance provisions to reflect commercial realities; and
- other housekeeping changes.
This is only a summary, so we encourage you to review the revised agreement in full.
What do Members need to do?
From 1 September 2026, Members will be prompted to review, sign, and accept the updated agreements via the IAA Member Portal. Affiliate and Corporate Members will also have the opportunity to negotiate specific terms in the MSA if needed.
Can Members still use the IAA Member Portal and make orders?
Yes. Members will continue to have access to the IAA Member Portal and all current services.
However, Members will not be able to take advantage of the long-term contract discounts without agreeing to the updated MSA and Service Schedule.
What happens if I don't sign the updated agreements?
Members will remain on the 30-day contract terms, but will not be able to order IX services under the long-term model, and will therefore not be able to take advantage of the further discounts provided under the long-term contracts.
What if I have a custom MSA?
Corporate and Affiliate Members with customised MSAs in place with us will need to review the updated MSA and request for changes to negotiate terms.
Are there any changes to pricing or service levels?
Yes, IAA have updated our pricing model, including the introduction of long-term service discounts which is why the updates to the MSA have been made.
Will Members be notified of future changes to agreements?
Yes, any future updates will follow a similar process, with Members given the opportunity to review and agree to changes.
